- Iowa-born Chicagoan that drifted into El Paso, I am heavily influenced by my Grandpa (Poppy) who was a no-nonsense Iowa farmer and jack-of-all-trades and master of all! Raised in one of the richest suburbs in Illinois but on the wrong side of the tracks, I've been "rich" and poor, but have always tried to keep it real.
